What to bring and what NOT to bring for boarding stay?
How to prepare my dogs or cats medications for boarding stays?
Ensuring the health and well-being of your furry family members is our top priority during their stay with us. To streamline the administration of medications and maintain accuracy, we kindly request that all medications be organized in labeled pill boxes, clearly indicating the dates for each corresponding medication time and your dog’s name. For your convenience, we offer pill boxes for sale at our facility for $5, which you can fill and keep upon arrival. However, if you prefer, we’re happy to fill them for you upon arrival for a nominal fee of $10.
What to do when you arrive for boarding?
We hope you’re looking forward to your pet’s stay with us as much as we are! To ensure a smooth check-in process, we kindly request that you complete the pre-check form at home before your arrival. Upon your arrival, please come inside without your pet(s) but with all their belongings. We’ll go over the check-in form together to confirm feeding schedules, medications, and any additional services your pet may require. Once we’ve completed the check-in process, we’ll let you know when it’s time to bring your pet(s) in so they can start enjoying their stay right away!

Do boarding dogs interact/play with each other?
Your pet(s) will not interact or play with other pet(s) while they are boarding with us, unless they have already passed a daycare evaluation with us. We do offer daycare services, however, we currently have a waitlist for evaluations. If you are interested in having your dog(s) evaluated for daycare, please speak to our front desk staff to get on the waitlist.
Do my dog(s) need a practice stay?
We understand that leaving your furry family member in a new environment can be a big decision. If your dog(s) will be staying over for 2-3 nights for the very first time, we highly recommend considering a trial day or night with us. A trial day or night allows us to assess if your dog(s) are the right fit for our facility and helps to ease any anxiety they may have about their future longer stay. It also gives you peace of mind knowing that your pet will be comfortable and well-cared for during their time with us. If you’re interested in scheduling a trial day or night, please don’t hesitate to contact our front desk staff to make arrangements.
How many times a day will my dogs(s) be let out?
We want to ensure that your pups have a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us. As part of our routine care, your dogs will be let out 5-6 times a day for approximately 10 minutes each outing (weather permitting). On days with longer sunlight, there will be a later evening let-out to accommodate their needs. However, on shorter sunlight days, let-outs will be scheduled at an earlier time to ensure their safety in darker and colder temperatures. Our priority is to provide your pets with regular opportunities for exercise, fresh air, and bathroom breaks while considering their safety and well-being.
What if there is an injury?
The well-being of your furry companions is our top priority at our boarding. In the event of an injury, we want to assure you that we will promptly notify you of the situation. Depending on the severity of the injury, we will provide on-site care or transport your pet to a veterinarian for further treatment, as we deem most appropriate. Your trust and the safety of your pets are of utmost importance to us, and we’re committed to ensuring they receive the best possible care while in our facility.
What if we notice an illness your dog may have?
Your dog’s health and well-being are our top priorities at our daycare. In the event that we notice any symptoms of illness, such as canine cough or other contagious illnesses, during your dog’s boarding visit, we will promptly notify you to see if someone can pick up your dog(s). Once notified, your dog will be immediately quarantined until you arrive for pickup. This precautionary measure helps prevent the potential spread of illness to other dogs in our facility. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in prioritizing the health and safety of all our boarding guests.
What if my pet(s) comes down with stomach upset or diarrhea while boarding?
While we strive to provide the best care for your furry companions during their stay with us, we understand that stomach upsets or diarrhea can occur. In such cases, we may implement a fasting period for your dog followed by a gentle diet of rice and pumpkin, along with ProPlan FortiFlora, to help soothe their stomach and aid digestion. Please note that there will be an additional charge per meal for this specialized diet. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring along these items for your dog’s use during their stay with us.
Pre-Check Form?
To streamline the check-in process and ensure we have all the necessary information for your pet’s stay, a pre-check form will be sent out 48 hours prior to their arrival. This form allows you to add any additional services to their stay, such as activity services. Please note that activity services are charged per family, not per dog, for your convenience. If you need assistance completing the pre-check form, please review the instructions provided in the ‘How To Complete The Pre-Check‘ guide. Our staff is also available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you for your cooperation in completing the pre-check form and for choosing us to care for your beloved pets.
